Welcome - أهلا بك - Soo Dhawee - Karibu

My mission:

It is my intention to provide all children, regardless of income or background, a strong foundation in problem-solving, encouraging independence, empathy, social-emotional regulation, and learning through play.

                                          About me:

Growing up in Kenya, I started watching my family's children along with the neighborhood kids at the age of fourteen.  In 2006, I made the move to America and after I acclimated to my new home, I worked for ten years in various childcare centers before I realized it was time to open my own.

I'm close to completing my Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education.

In my spare time, I work diligently in perfecting my ability to speak and write in Arabic.  I also love cooking, sewing and making Henna designs.

As a child, my mother displayed compassion and kindness to all children, so I've named my center after her.  "Hooyo" means mother in Somali and Bibi is my mother's name.
